How to Clean Wood Floors
Vacuum
Before you clean wood floors use a vacuum to remove debris and dust. We recommend using a soft brush head to prevent any markings
Mop
Mix one part white vinegar with four parts warm water in a bucket. Place the mop head into the bucket and wring out to remove excess water.
Top tip: always use a minimum amount of water when mopping the floor to reduce excessive water on the wood that can cause damage
Mop the floor backwards and forwards following the grain of the wood. Repeat until all areas of the floor have been covered, changing the water if it becomes cloudy.
The floor should dry within minutes. Take care to avoid large wet patches. If you notice excess water in one area then use a soft microfibre cloth to dry.
Open windows if necessary to speed up the drying process.
Buff the clean wood floor with a soft cloth.
