Kielder Water & Forest Park
Home to 50% of England's red squirrel population, Kielder water and forest park is filled with a range of wildlife such as badgers, deer, otters and water voles. The park has miles of trails, including mountain bike tracks and forest walks for all the family to explore. One notable walk is The Lakeside Way, a 26 mile walk that circles around Kielder Water.

Minotaur Maze
Located in the grounds of Kielder Castle, the Minotaur Maze is an architectural maze made wire-baled rocks. Designed by artist Shona Kitchen and architect Nick Coombe, the maze has exciting features such as stairs and possible alternative routes for adults and children to explore.
Watersports
Kielder attracts watersports fanatics all year round and has over 2000 acres of water to explore. Alongside a fleet of 15 motor boats, visitors can also enjoy canoeing, sailing, and water skiing. Each of these activities must be pre-booked in advance on their website.
